Join CMRW for a special meeting on April 24th at 11:30 at Maggiano’s. Not only will we get an update on the exciting plans and volunteer opportunities for the Charlotte 2020 convention from the Host committee’s COO, Towers Mingledorff, but we will sponsor a mini-Red, White and Bundled shower to benefit the Susan M. Tillis Foundation and hear from founder, Susan Tillis about her work supporting military families.
Items collected will be sent to the Armed Services YMCA at Ft. Bragg where they will be “bundled” in to welcome gifts for newborns of enlisted soldiers and presented to new moms.
Items needed include:
- Diapers (size newborn, size 1)
- Wipes
- Sleepers/onesies (newborn, 3-6 months)
- Receiving blankets
- Newborn baby hats
- Socks
- Gift cards (to purchase strollers, car seats and cribs as needed)
- Small toys
Your ticket price includes salads, entrees, beverage, coffee and dessert.
